Spotting the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) with My Telescope!

At the time I recorded this, the JWST was ~480,000 miles away and has its sunshield deployed, giving it a size of around 20x14 metres. It had recently launch from Earth after hitching a lift on the back of an Ariane Rocket on Christmas Day.

Half way on its journey to its final destination around 1,000,000 miles from Earth.
